Wolves can run from 50 to 60 km/h for 20 minutes.  This one wolf, chased a rabbit for 7 minutes, then it was caught. The wolves will surround their prey and then attack.  They prefer to attack in the night.

Wolves Feeding Habits

Wolves, prefer large herbivores, if they cannot get a herbivore, they will eat sheep and calves because they freeze in fear.  The wolves really like animals that are on their own, rather than in packs.
